Innovation Pilot is a mandatory course for all engineering students at DTU Diplom. This means that around 1000 students will work with 50-70 companies a year. The course is placed at the end of the Applied Engineering Education program, typically in the 5th or 6th semester.
The course is offered three times a year; autumn, spring and summer. Where the autumn and spring courses have a duration of 13 weeks, the summer course is offered as an intensive course of 6 weeks. The course is split in two separate modules; a short course of 4 weeks and longer courses of 8 weeks.
Both modules include cases from unique companies and organizations.
