The interdisciplinary element of Innovation Pilot is expressed by students forming groups across the 19 engineering disciplines at DTU Diplom. The groups can thereby illustrate the given challenge from several different professional perspectives.
Through the course, the concept of innovation is understood as a study and learning process in which students ask questions and open up problems. Innovation is also understood as an entrepreneurial and systematic process in which students analyze opportunities and form argued solutions. It is through this process and the interdisciplinary collaboration that the students can develop unique opportunities and solutions for the companies.
